The Designed Creation

“Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” (Psalm 94:8-9)

The concept of evolution, according to this verse, is nothing but brute-like foolishness. If an automobile presupposes an automaker, and a clock implies a clockmaker, surely the infinitely more intricate and complex eyes and ears of living creatures require an eye-maker and an ear-maker! “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them” (Proverbs 20:12).

The most basic of all scientific laws—the law of cause and effect (no effect greater than its cause)—becomes utmost nonsense if the cosmos is the product of chaos and the universe evolved by chance. “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).

Every creature, from the single-cell amoebae to the amazing human body, bears the impress of intricate planning and construction. The notion that such complex structures could evolve by random mutations and natural selection is simply a measure of the audacity of human rebellion and the absurdity of humanistic reasoning. Such things never happen in the real world, and there is no real scientific evidence whatever for “vertical” evolution from one kind to a higher kind. The only genuine evidence for evolution is the fact that the leaders of intellectualism believe it, and the only reason they believe it is their frantic desire to escape God. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:22).

The ear did not “evolve”; it was planted. The eye did not “happen by chance”; it was formed. Every wise man and woman will say with the psalmist, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14). HMM

  1. What I continue to find so fascinating is that it is still just the “THEORY” of evolution and yet so many choose to make statements as if it is based in FACTUAL science. The other thing that amazes me is that one of the character traits of the Creator, our Heavenly Father is, Omniscience. Many translate it to mean “all knowledge” and in truth He DOES have ALL knowledge. But breakdown the English word and you see Omni and Science. God’s very character is SCIENCE! ALL Science!! He created the sciences that so many claim to use to find the “truth” in all things, when all they have to do is look to the Author and Creator of those very sciences! In other words, the truth is staring them in the face.
Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they (mankind) are without excuse,—-” parenthesis mine.
Our Bible is FOR mankind and there is nothing wrong with science in and of itself as long as man does not deny what is evident in that very science! It is like so many who barely read their Bible or who only listen to others, they make the Bible fit their ideology and ideas rather than fitting their ideas to the Truth of the Bible. So it is with science. So many (not all) try to make the sciences fit their preconceived ideas rather than make their ideas fit the science. If they did, they would do just what Romans 1:20 implies, they would see the hand of God, His attributes and His power. But man’s nature has NOT changed for all the advancement he claims. He still CHOOSES to be blind to the truth. So sad, yet so much for us to continue to pray for!!
Just wanted to say, I am usually very wordy, but I am amazed how you get so much in such brief, but to the point, articles. You truly have a gift from the Holy Spirit and I praise God for that! Love your teaching!
Am making the rounds, so until next time, God bless you so much in your continued service. By the way, I did read several of your articles! 🙂

    • I certainly appreciate your comment and encouragement. You are correct the Truth is staring them right in the face. I enjoy seeing the Hand of God and His handiwork. We pray those who are blind will see before it is too late. May God continue to Bless you, yours, and your Ministry.
